Bone broth has been around for centuries and we both grew up in households where a simmering pot of broth was a typical part or our childhood.
Bone broth is considered a superfood by some for its minerals and proteins drawn out of bones that form collagen- a jelly-like consistency.
We try and drink at least 1 cup of bone broth daily during the winter. Sometimes 'straight up' in a mug or we dress it up and eat it as a lunch or dinner.
