Lime Cubes

Making #lime cubes for cooking and flavoring water. Juice the limes and freeze in an ice cube tray and then transfer to a bag and keep frozen until needed.

These are so convenient to have in the freezer for anytime a recipe calls for fresh lime juice or just to add to tea or water. These were limes from a friends tree that we stored in the fridge for a few months but they were still juicy.

Limes are high in vitamin C, providing over 20% of your daily needs. They also contain small amounts of iron, calcium, vitamin B6, thiamine, potassium, and more.
