Love making our own pickles and adding herbs from our garden.
A basic quick pickle recipe can be made with almost any vegetable.
We use:
Garlic, smashed or sliced (we love using a lot)
1 cup vinegar (white, apple cider, or rice)
1 cup brine (We add about 1 Tbsp per 1 cup warm water)
Mix and keep in fridge.
(feel free to add any spices, seasoning, herbs etc.)
Quick pickles are different from traditional fermented pickles in that they are not 'canned' and need to be kept in the fridge.
